At the inception of the Play@ American Girl redesign, I was responsible for advising the Project Manager and two Web Designers about the technical implementation of the project. To bring their designs to life, I scripted every bit of PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript from the ground up. Due to not having access to a database for this project, every bit of site content that is updated regularily is stored in an XML document and every page is build on-the-fly.
No Fatcat Left Behind was a marketing initiative from Renaissance Learning encouraging educators to play an online game for a chance to win money for their school. Working with an Illustrator and the Senior VP of Marketing, I created No Fatcat Left Behind from the ground up using only ActionScript 3.
In a marketing initiative to raise awareness of Renaissance Learning's NEO 2 laptop, I worked with the VP of Marketing to create an online, self-guided demonstration of the hardware. Due to the positive exposure this presentation received, I redeveloped a version for the Sales team to use at tradeshows.
